About the Doncaster West Development Trust

DWDT is a not for profit company, limited by members guarantee. Our base is the Terrace in Castle Avenue, Conisbrough right next to Conisbrough Castle. We have one major aim – ‘to contribute to the social, economic and environmental regeneration of Conisbrough and Denaby Main’. We aim to achieve long term, sustainable results, through the development of practical and real projects that engage bo th the local businesses and people who live in the area.

We believe that long term, sustainable development must encompass the people who live in the area, the economy and the local environment. The Board of Directors is drawn from local people who are working towards the development of partnerships as one of the steps towards achieving this.
