Welcome to the Doncaster West Development Trust

Welcome to the Doncaster West Development Trust (DWDT) web site. DWDT was established in 1993 to work alongside local people to create a more sustainable future within communities through developing community economic regeneration projects. DWDT is a not for profit company, limited by members' guarantee.

Our base is 'The Terrace' on Castle Avenue, Conisbrough. The Terrace is set in its own grounds and is located next to Conisbrough Castle. We aim to achieve long term, sustainable results, through the development of practical and real projects that engage both the local people and employers.

We believe that long term, sustainable development must encompass the people who live in the area, the economy and the local environment. The Board of Directors is drawn from local people who are working towards the development of partnerships as one of the steps towards achieving this.
